Sochi, the sports capital of Southern Russia

European Youth Table Tennis Championships will be hosted in the city of Sochi, the capital of the 2014 Winter Olympics. Athletes will compete at modern Federal Center of Martial Arts, which was built in 2015.

The multi-purpose complex can host variety of sports contests including table tennis, boxing, futsal, volleyball, handball, artistic gymnastics, basketball, taekwondo, fencing, wrestling, judo and sambo events.

There are variety of halls in FCMA, including martial arts hall, choreographic hall, weightlifting hall, gym and big sports hall, where table tennis players will compete for the championship. 12 tables will be available for competition and 10 additional tables will be used for training and preparation purposes.

FCMA is a part of Iug-Sport complex, the biggest facility in Southern Russia for preparation of multiple Russian national teams. Track and field areas, football ground, yacht club, two hotels and medical recovery center are also available there.
